Dr. Susan Baley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Poultry Management from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota in 2018. Following graduation, Dr. Baley pursued an internship in Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, furthering her expertise in these unique fields.
In 2021, Dr. Baley completed a residency in Avian Medicine at Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services in Fairfax, Virginia, and is currently working towards board certification in Avian Practice. She has a broad interest in exotic animal care, with a particular focus on poultry medicine, endoscopy, and soft tissue surgery for exotic species.
Outside of her veterinary work, Dr. Baley enjoys hiking, video gaming, traveling, crafting, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
