Dr. Melissa Clark graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After several years of general practice, she pursued a combined residency in veterinary clinical pharmacology and PhD in pharmacology at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Clark then completed a veterinary internal medicine residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Since finishing her residency, she has worked as a staff internist in private specialty practice.
Dr. Clark is double board-certified in small animal internal medicine and veterinary clinical pharmacology. Her research and publications focus on a variety of topics, including antibiotics, antifungals, soft tissue infections, drug therapy monitoring, and antidiabetic compounds in dogs and cats.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Clark enjoys running, immersing herself in nature, appreciating humor, and spending quality time with family and friends. She shares her home with two cats, Rosie and ML.
