Dr. Melissa Clark graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and worked as a general practitioner for several years before completing a combined veterinary clinical pharmacology residency and PhD in pharmacology at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She subsequently completed a veterinary internal medicine residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Since residency completion she has been employed as a staff internist in private specialty practice. Dr. Clark is double boarded in small animal internal medicine and veterinary clinical pharmacology. Topics of prior publications include antibiotics, antifungals, soft tissue infections, monitoring drug therapy, and antidiabetic compounds in dogs and cats. In her free time, Dr. Clark enjoys running, nature, humor, and spending time with family and friends. She has two cats, Rosie and ML.
