Dr. Hatfield, a proud native of La Grange, Texas, earned both his Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. After completing veterinary school, he pursued an equine surgical internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma, followed by a diagnostic imaging internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Dr. Hatfield then completed a residency in diagnostic imaging at Mississippi State University, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences.
Board-certified in veterinary diagnostic imaging since 2020, Dr. Hatfield’s research focused on the use of computed tomography in diagnosing and managing canine intestinal disease. His professional interests include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Hatfield enjoys ranching, fly fishing, nature photography, and traveling.
