Dr. Jessica Magnotti is a board-certified avian specialist, recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. She is a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian through the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Magnotti obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology from George Mason University. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rigorous internship and residency focused on Avian and Exotic Medicine and Surgery at Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services in Virginia. She achieved board certification in Avian Practice and became a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian in 2024.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Magnotti enjoys playing guitar and piano, exploring nature, playing video games, and birdwatching. Dr. Magnotti shares her home with her partner, Chris, and their extensive menagerie of pets, including parrots, rabbits, snakes, frogs, and lizards. She enjoys enriching the lives of her pets through activities such as agility training with her Argentine Tegu lizard, Gunter, building foraging toys for her parrots, and bioactive enclosures for her frogs.
