Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation
Dr. Pampiglione graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine of Bologna, Italy in 1997. Specializing in veterinary physical rehabilitation; she enhanced her skills at Vierbeiner Reha-Zentrum in Germany and completed the Canine Rehabilitation Program at the University of Tennessee earning her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner and granted teaching status for the CCRP Practicum.
She also completed the Chiropractic Program of the College Option For Animals.
Prior to joining GCVS in 2023, Dr. Pampiglione founded Canine Aquafitness & Veterinary Rehab Centre in Okotoks, a town in the Calgary Region of Alberta, Canada. With over 20 years of experience and a commitment to treating pets like family, she offers a range of therapies, from physical rehabilitation, chiropractic, laser therapy, underwater treadmill, and massage.
Dr. Pampiglione is also recognized as the leading casting and fitter practitioner for custom canine orthotics in Canada. She has a special interest in teaching and training veterinarian students and staff, as well as sharing her knowledge and expertise with her clients.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Pampiglione enjoys spending time with her “zoo” consisting of her two rescue husky mixes (Numa and Akai), three spoiled Guinea Pigs (Guido, Geppetto, and Baby G), and two cats (Viola and Luca).
