Catherine Huff, LVT, BAS

Catherine began her career in veterinary technology after graduating from Tomball College with an Associate of Applied Science in 1996. Her passion for education led her to transition into teaching in 2007 at the Vet Tech Institute, where she became the Program Director in 2009. During her tenure, Catherine taught a wide range of subjects, including anatomy, nutrition, clinical pathology, and canine behavior, shaping the next generation of veterinary professionals.

In 2022, Catherine earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Tarleton State University. That same year, she joined Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists as the Procedural Services Manager, overseeing the Neurology, Surgery, Anesthesia, and Ophthalmology departments. Catherine also serves on several committees, including the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) for the Texas Heart Institute.

Outside of her professional work, Catherine enjoys spending quality time with her significant other and their dog, Poppie.
