Catherine graduated from Tomball College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 1996. She transitioned into education in 2007 and began instructing at the Vet Tech Institute. In 2009 she became the Program Director and continued to teach classes such as anatomy, nutrition, clinical pathology and canine behavior. Catherine graduated from Tarleton State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree. Catherine started her career working for Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in 2022 and is the Procedural Services Manager overseeing the Neurology, Surgery, Anesthesia and Ophthalmology departments. Catherine serves on a number of committees including the IACUC for the Texas Heart Institute. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her significant other and their three dogs, Poppie, Masie and Jennay.
