Dr. Carolina Garcia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2011. Before pursuing veterinary school, she gained valuable hands-on experience working as a veterinary technician for two years. In 2017, she graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois.
Following graduation, Dr. Garcia completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital, where her passion for emergency medicine truly flourished. This led her to join Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in 2018, where she continues to provide compassionate and expert care in critical situations.
Outside of work, Dr. Garcia enjoys indoor climbing, exploring new destinations through travel, and spending quality time with her beloved Chihuahua, Valentino.
