Dr. Brandy Orr brings a strong academic background and a passion for emergency medicine to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2014 and spent three years working as a veterinary technician while completing her Master of Science in Biomedical Science in 2016. Dr. Orr then continued her studies at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2021.
With a deep appreciation for all aspects of emergency medicine, Dr. Orr has a particular interest in trauma medicine and neurology, where her expertise and compassion make a significant impact on her patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Orr is an avid runner who thrives on training for her next race. When not on the track, she enjoys baking, cross-stitching intricate designs, and getting lost in a good book. Dr. Orr shares her life with her loving husband, Jake, and their three beloved dogs: Cama, Trixie, and Bogey.
