Dr. Alla Kerr earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Animal Science from Rutgers University in 2013. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2017, where she was honored with the ACVS Foundation Student Surgery Award for her excellence in surgical studies. After completing a small animal rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center, Dr. Kerr moved to San Antonio for a surgical internship at a private practice.
She then returned to the Northeast to complete a surgical residency at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services in Rochester, New York. Dr. Kerra is skilled in both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, with special interests in trauma care and minimally invasive procedures.
