Dr. McDonald is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned both her bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a competitive rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA, where she gained extensive experience in advanced veterinary care.
While she cherished her time in Boston, Dr. McDonald ultimately returned to her hometown of Houston to pursue her passion for emergency medicine as a dedicated emergency veterinarian. Her commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care has made her a trusted advocate for pets and their families during critical moments.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. McDonald enjoys nurturing her garden, exploring the outdoors, knitting intricate projects, and strumming the ukulele to unwind.
