Dr. Hernandez is originally from Puerto Rico and graduated with her BS in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2017, she earned her DVM from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hernandez then went on to complete a rotating internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital before beginning an Internal Medicine internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, Florida. Prior to joining GCVS, Dr. Hernandez worked as a locum tenens in a Florida specialty hospital.
