Dr. Paul Manino earned his Bachelor of Science in General Biology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1998 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Louisiana State University in 2003. After graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Manino then worked as an emergency/critical care veterinarian for five years before pursuing a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. He became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Manino has a special interest in liver disease, fungal disorders, and minimally invasive endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. From 2016 to 2025, he served as the department lead for the internal medicine service, before transitioning to the role of Medical Director at GCVS NASA Parkway.
Outside of work, Dr. Manino enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children. He is also a passionate foodie, as well as a devoted fan of Lego building and Star Wars.
Dr. Manino and his team were extremely kind and understanding. They treated my little girl as if she was their own.
