Dr. Fabiani earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Texas A&M University. After six years of practicing general and emergency medicine in both small and large animal settings, she transitioned to a career in veterinary radiology. Dr. Fabiani completed a three-year residency at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, becoming board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2003. Since then, she has served as a staff radiologist at GCVS.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Fabiani served as an adjunct professor of Diagnostic Imaging at Saint Matthews University College of Veterinary Medicine from 2006 to 2012. She has lectured extensively, sharing her expertise with veterinary students and professionals locally, nationally, and internationally.
Dr. Fabiani’s contributions to the field have been widely recognized. In 2012, she became the first veterinary radiologist to receive the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice Clinical Referral and Consultation Award. In 2022, she was named the Texas Veterinary Medical Specialty Practitioner of the Year, also a first for a radiologist.
Her professional interests include musculoskeletal and exotic animal imaging, echocardiography, MRI, and interventional radiology. Outside of work, Dr. Fabiani enjoys spending time with her husband, their two dogs, and four children.
