Dr. Jessica Magnotti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology from George Mason University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in Avian and Exotic Medicine and Surgery at Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services in Virginia and completed her board certification in Avian Medicine in 2024.
With a keen interest in surgery and pathology, Dr. Magnotti is passionate about advancing her knowledge and has contributed research on various exotic animal species. Her fascination with unconventional animals began in childhood, where she was surrounded by a diverse range of birds, reptiles, small mammals, and even invertebrates.
In her personal time, Dr. Magnotti enjoys playing guitar and piano, exploring nature, playing video games, and birdwatching. She shares her life with her partner, Chris, and their extensive collection of animals, including parrots, rabbits, snakes, frogs, and lizards.
