Dr. Melanie Puchot, a proud Texas native, earned her veterinary degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, before returning to Texas A&M to complete a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine, which she finished in 2017.
After her residency, Dr. Puchot spent four years at a specialty hospital in New Jersey before returning to her hometown of Houston. She has a special interest in endocrinology, nephrology, and interventional endoscopy/radiology, where she utilizes her skills to improve patient outcomes through advanced techniques.
Outside of work, Dr. Puchot enjoys camping with her wife, Diane, and working towards her goal of visiting all the national parks. She shares her home with her two beloved pets: Onyx, a dog, and Sprite, a cat.
